- Inspect kitchens, cupboards, appliances, plumbing voids and other accessible harbourage areas.
- Choose suitable gel, residual or crack-and-crevice treatment for the site and label directions.
- Explain food, pet and re-entry precautions before work starts; record treated areas and advise on follow-up when needed.
Preparation checklist
- Store or cover exposed food and ingredients.
- Clear cupboards or counters identified for treatment.
- Allow access beneath sinks, around plumbing and along skirtings.
- Secure personal items and pet bowls.
- Keep pets and occupants away from the treatment area as instructed.
- Tell the technician about sensitive areas and heavy activity.
Re-entry and cleaning advice depends on the product and method used. Follow the technician's instructions and product label.
Before we arrive
Clear access to affected cupboards and skirtings where practical. Store exposed food and utensils as advised for the proposed treatment.
After the service
Reduce food and water sources, repair leaks and avoid washing treated edges until the technician says it is appropriate. Persistent activity may require a planned follow-up.
